Lewis Confusion; Full FA Update

It has been a slow day at One Bills Drive. I have not caught wind of any visits, any trade rumors or anything else Bills-related. However, there was one report that caused some serious confusion among Bills fans.

Earlier today, ESPN's free agent tracker listed Lions restricted free agent linebacker Alex Lewis (right) as having signed with the Bills. The two links that show this appear here and here. However, those reports are contrary to a Thursday story claiming that Lewis had re-signed with the Lions on a three-year deal.

I'm going to believe that ESPN has simply messed up their free agent tracker. It's a lot easier to believe there's a discrepancy when you read about Lewis' re-signing on the Lions' official website, right? Lewis would have been an interesting addition, however - he's got pretty solid speed and played under Dick Jauron in Detroit.

It's also nice to see that a sports bigwig like ESPN isn't perfect. Makes us small guys feel better about ourselves. Repeat: Alex Lewis is still a Lion.
